We are thrilled and honoured to announce that we are once again supporting Pulse 1’s Cash for Kids Mission Christmas (covering North & West Yorkshire) at our site in Leeds. We have donated space and will be acting as “Mission HQ”, where the charity can collect, sort, and distribute donations of toys and other gifts to disadvantaged children – we hope to see you there!

What is Mission Christmas?

The Cash for Kids Mission Christmas campaign aims to provide disadvantaged children and young people with a gift on Christmas day. Individuals and businesses donate new, unopened presents, and the volunteers collect, sort, and distribute to struggling families who need it most.

In 2022 Cash for Kids collectively raised £20.4 million across the UK, and supported 489,409 children. What an incredible achievement and we hope to help them achieve fantastic things again this year!

You can learn more about Cash for Kids on their website.

Why is Mission Christmas Important?

The work cash for Kids do is more important now than it ever has been. There are 4.3 million children living in poverty in the UK, and the cost of living crisis means many families are needing to choose between heating their homes or eating this Christmas.

Any support you are able to offer will be greatly appreciated – let’s make this Christmas great for everyone!

How Can I get Involved?

  • Donate Money Online: This money will be used to buy presents for children in your area. It also allows Cash For Kids to buy gifts for the age groups that receive the least amount of donations (particularly babies and teenagers).
  • Buy a gift and drop it off (unwrapped) to one of the many convenient drop off points – of which The Store Room Leeds is one!
  • Donate a gift online: This is a great option if you are busy but still want to donate. Simply view the gift list, select the items you wish to donate, follow the simple payment instructions, and your items will be delivered directly to Mission Christmas HQ. Items on this list are regularly updated to help meet the demand for age categories that your area is struggling to secure enough donations for.
