‘Going Mobile’ To Help Our Self Storage Customers

Last week saw the launch of our brand new mobile-phone-friendly self storage website. You may remember that a few months ago we launched a re-vamped version of our main website, so we thought the smart thing to do would be to make sure that our website is as easy to use as possible when a customer is looking at it on their mobile phone. Here you can see the homepage of the mobile website with easy-to-use buttons and features:

Main features and benefits of the new ‘Smartphone-friendly’ storage website

1. You can easily navigate from the homepage to your local storage site’s page – no more pinching and zooming to see what the buttons say.

2. You can get a quick quote for the storage space that you need right there on your mobile in just a few clicks of your thumb. Our size estimator too has been optimised for mobile phones, so you get the same ease of use as you get on our full website.

3. You can reserve your storage room on your mobile phone – sometimes we can’t all be by the computer or we may not want to have to load it up! With our mobile ‘quote and reserve’ system you can secure your room and your price on your phone from wherever you are.

4. When you are out and about there are two main things that you will want to do with our mobile site. The first would be to be able to easily call us with one click and be able to speak to your local self storage site. You can easily do this by simply clicking the ‘click to call’ button on the page (see the above example picture of our Rotherham self storage site’s mobile-optimised page). The second thing you want to be able to do is find out where your local self storage facility is and get detailed directions – that’s why we’ve included a direct link to a map of where our sites are on the 6 respective locations’ pages, with the option to also get directions from wherever you are.

Feel free to try out our mobile website when the need arises and any feedback would be welcome – Dan from our Manchester storage site would be delighted to receive any suggestions – just add them to the comments below.
